Ganesh Emporium - Review and Giveaway! - *CLOSED*

Spring has sprung! It's time to put away those winter clothes, pull out the summer dresses and dust off those beach sandals. Sunny days are on its way and now is also an excellent opportunity to reveal your individuality and creativity with what else but jewelry!

Ganesh Emporium is run by Ramya, who is originally from India but now resides in Southern California. She loves to paint, sew, do gardening, some interior designing and anything that involves creative thinking. Even though she tries to do every bit of what she loves, her primary passion has been creating and designing unique jewelry.

Ramya fell into jewelry making two years ago when she visited the Gem Faire in Costa Mesa. She was expecting to see some precious gem stones display or something similar but upon reaching the venue, her jaw dropped in awe of the millions of beads, stones, accessories, pendants and so much more. As she walked around with excitement, she decided to buy a few beads and by the end of the faire all she could think of was to head home and start making a necklace out of it. Ramya learnt jewelry making from the help of online articles and video tutorials and kept practicing until mastering the techniques. Her friends and family suggested she start selling them online on Etsy and thus, Ganesh Emporium was born.

I was sent a purple bellflower bracelet to review. This adjustable bracelet is made with petite bellflower Czech glass beads on a gunmetal plated hematite look-alike chain. It appears to be a very simple bracelet at first but you'll never know what a fun and versatile piece this is to wear. Plus it screams "spring" so now is the perfect time to add this accessory to your outfit. So far it's held up really well and is so light weight I often forget I have it on until someone compliments me on it. Check out her Spring Line for more jewelry pieces if you're looking for great seasonal accessories!

Buy: You can buy jewelry from Ganesh Emporium here. Get a 10% off discount on your purchase for the duration of this giveaway by entering the code "Salad For Breakfast blog" at checkout.

Ganesh Emporium is giving away a necklace to one lucky winner!

Here is what you have to do to enter this giveaway:

Visit Ganesh Emporium, then come back and tell me which item is your favourite (besides the ones featured in this giveaway) AND why. You must answer both questions to qualify. No copying other peoples' answers!

(You can do this ONCE a day so be sure to come back each day and post a different answer to gain one more entry!)

To gain extra entries:

1) The necklace Ramya is giving away has no name! Help her name the necklace and submit your ideas as many times as you like. Each submission = 1 extra entry
2) Post about this giveaway on your blog, website or a forum, then come back and post ONE comment with the link to that post. - 1 extra entry
3) Leave a comment on my other review posts - 1 extra entry
4) Tweet this giveaway. Post one comment with the link to your tweet! You can do this daily! - 1 extra entry
5) Post my blog button on your blog, then come back and post TWO comments with the link to your blog. - 2 extra entries
6) Subscribe to my blog either by RSS or email. Post TWO comments you did this. - 2 extra entries
7) Follow me on Twitter! Post TWO comments you did this - 2 extra entries
8) Become a public follower of my blog on Google Friend Connect. Post THREE comments that you follow. - 3 extra entries

That's a total of 14 entries into the draw if you do them all, plus you can get one entry for each day you come back and post a different comment or tweet the giveaway. The more times you enter, the better your chances of winning!

The giveaway will run from June 2, 2010 and end at 11:59 pm EST on June 13, 2010. I will use Random.org to pick the winner and they will have 48 hours to get back to me.

This giveaway is open to everyone worldwide! Good luck!

I like the Amaryllis flower bead pendant necklace, I've always had a thing for beads linked like that, instead of strung, it feels vintage and more like jewelry that lasts a lifetime.

My favorite is the Trellis charm and flower earrings. ^^ I just love vintage-inspired pieces like these and the design itself is just amazing. c:

A name I would suggest would be "Judgment of Paris" inspired by a story in Greek mythology about Paris, three goddesses, a golden apple and how the Trojan War came to be. c:

I would likely name the pendant "Angel Cage" hehehe :">
Besides, the pink cage-shaped charm looks so heavenly and other charms are supporting it.
Last; it`s pretty!

My favorite item is the pair of Vintage Cameo earrings because they remind me of a brooch that belonged to my great-grandmother. I'm not much of a brooch wearer (and it seems like most cameos are brooches), but I'm a BIG earring wearer. Love these.
